AB de Villiers rents the new bcci fitness test

The BCCI introduced the Bronco test, especially for the Pacers, in order to make them run more rather than spending time in a gymnasium.

AB de Villiers praised the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) for introducing the Bronco test. The fitness assessment test was introduced by the India team and packaging coach, Adrian Le Roux, who took care of in June after the departure of Sohan Desia.

How does the Bronco test work

The aerobic capacity test, speed of speed and mental grain is the main objective of the Bronco test. The athletes must make a shuttle of 20 meters, 40 meters and 60 meters. This totals 240 meters per set, and each athlete must make five sets, or 1,200 meters.

How does the Bronco test work

India’s former striker Manoj Tiwary criticized the new fitness test, saying that Rohit Sharma was done announced his cricket retirement before the ODI 2027 World Cup.

We cannot attest to know if the BCCI’s motif was at the origin of the introduction of the Bronco test. But each coach has their own method. Shankar Basu had introduced the Yo-Yo test in 2017, and even it caused criticism. And now, the Bronco test seems to undergo the same fate.

Bronco test, good for Team India

Abd has carried out the fitness test throughout his career. Since he came because of rugby and South Africa being one of the best in sport, this has not shocked that proteas have used it. “In fact, I didn’t even know when the team spoke to me. I said, “What is a Bronco test? But when they explained to me, I knew exactly what it was. De Villiers said on his YouTube channel.

The former captain of South Africa said that the Bronco test really challenged an athlete. But he has a huge merit. This is why BCCI is right by introducing the evaluation of physical condition.

“Here in South Africa, we call it the Sprint repeatability test. This is one of the worst (fitness test) that you can do. The altitude here is, I think, 1,500 meters above sea level. So, not much oxygen, and these lungs would burn. ”

“Laugh to see India include the Bronco test in their training. It’s just a pulmonary burner and it is ideal for physical form, obviously, but not so pleasant. He added.
