A cinematic return to “The Black Parade”

Nineteen years after the most acclaimed album of my chemical romance, The black parade, was released, the New Jersey Emo-Rock Band brought a film and theatrical performance of the album in Los Angeles.

Playing two shot shows closed at the Dodger Stadium, the launch of Saturday evening was the group’s first program (known by the fans under the name of MCR or My Chem) First since 2019. Long Live The Black Parade, the first tour of the MCR stadium, was a theatrical matter.

The group – currently made up of Gerard Way members, Mikey Way, Ray Toro and Frank Iero – has played their 2006 Emo -Rock concept album, 2006, The black paradeIn its entirety, on a backdrop the best was exceeded from the tour of the tour. The description of the video can be read as follows: “It’s been seventeen years since The black parade was sent to the ditch. Meanwhile, a large dictator has increased in power, causing “the age of concrete”; A glorious time of stability and abundance in the history of Draag.

“His large immortal dictator wishes to celebrate our rich and legendary culture, our fine food and our musical entertainment by welcoming you to these great demonstrations of power and resolution,” he continues. “And the voice and the loan song for the first time in six thousand two hundred and forty days, their reinstated work privilege, will be his national group of the Grand Immortal Dictator… The Black Parade.”

MCR presented the dictator, who “looked at” performance in his honor, as well as several other characters. The leader Way – carrying a false accent – acted as the group leader performing for the dictator, remaining in his Cabaret Ceremonial memportive which recalls the character for the whole Black parade together. The program then had a brief intermission before the group went to stadium B to interpret a set which included an unprecedented song written just before their rupture of 2013 (the group officially gathered in 2019), Hits “i’m’t Good (I promers)” and “Helena” and a arrow of brothers B.

At night, one of MCR’s return, was full of drama, excitement and nostalgia. Here are some of the strengths of the tour of My Chemical Romance Live the Black Parade

MCR’s performance of The black parade In its entirety would have been a hot ticket whatever happens, but the group’s dedication to a complete narration experience cannot be overestimated. Directed by the leader of the Over-the Top group, who, spoiler alert, meets a tragic end, The black parade The part of the evening was the ideal way to discover an album like this.

At one point of the evening, after a great performance of the main song of the album, “Welcome to the Black Parade”, still in the character, made a warning to the crowd that they could be disturbed by what was going to happen. The MCR guys received dodger dogs by the character keeping them online, even by cutting a video view of the dictator eating the hot dog.

Then a choice was made. Upon entering the stadium, fans received “yes” or “no” signs that were to be used to decide whether there would be an execution or an election would take place. “I started calling it a epitualness,” Way told the crowd. After a vote, four prisoners – Way explained that they were guilty of the crime to question “the longevity of the dictator of the Grand Immortal” – were brought to stadium B and “executed”.

To finish The black parade Leaving the night, a clown went on stage while the group occurred on a burned and destroyed scene, stabbing a bloody and theatrical moment before the rest of the group was removed from the scene with bags above the head by officers. The clown then played on the hidden song of the album “Blood”, before revealing the crowd, he had explosives attached to his chest, igniting them on stage in an explosive scene. The sequence obtained a standing ovation from the observation dictator.

Unsurprisingly for a visit of this nature, the crowd was full of unconditional, old and new fans. There was no song played all over the set that almost the whole crowd did not know – except for an unprecedented song. The emblematic opening of “Welcome to the Black Parade” was an excellent example of how fans were excited to see the group again, which made the crowd sing at full volume.

The crowd also organized a fans project, distributing red hearts to put the pocket lamps on the participants. The project illuminated the red crowd during the performance of the “Cancer” group.
