Aaron Gordon De Nuggets questionable for match 7, but the report casts doubt

Denver Nuggets striker Aaron Gordon was listed in the morning injury report as questionable for match 7 of the semi-finals of the West Conference Sunday afternoon against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
ESPN, however, reported that Gordon would not play in the game on the road.
According to ESPN, Gordon has a strain of the hamstrings of Grade 2 and needs “several weeks” for recovery. He left match 6 Thursday at the end of the fourth quarter with the injury.
Gordon, 29, is in his fifth season with the Nuggets and was a key player in their 2022-23 NBA championship team.
In 13 playoffs this season, he has an average of 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists on 38.2 minutes per game.
It was limited to 51 games in the regular season due to a stretched straight calf and a sprain in the left ankle.
After Gordon passed a step by step procedure on Saturday in Denver, the acting coach David Adelman said that no decision had been made about his availability.
“I’m sure the hoops (to jump) are probably smaller because the game arrives so quickly,” he said. “This is not something where he has three weeks to pass it. It will therefore probably be his comfort, as well as the advice of medical staff on what he can and cannot do.
“If they say it is available, it will start.”
The ESPN report questioned this.
Gordon struck two match winners in the playoff series: a dunk in match 4 of the first round against the Clippers of Los Angeles and a 3 -point in the last seconds to win match 1 against higher thunder. Its 3 pointer with 27 seconds to play in the regulation of match 3 against Oklahoma City sent the nuggets of the fourth seeded to overtime – a match which they won 113-104.
The winner of match 7 will have an advantage at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves, sixth seeded, in the Western Conference final, which begins on Tuesday.
Nuggets Guards Jamal Murray (disease) and Russell Westbrook (sprained right) are listed as probable.
