A year later, questions remain on Butler despite the fact that Trump is “very satisfied” with the investigation

A year after an attempted assassination against Donald Trump, the president says that he is “satisfied” with an investigation into the attack, although the details remain vague.

A year later, many questions remain unanswered. However, Trump recently declared on a daily basis that he was “very satisfied” with the answers that the FBI, the DoJ and the secret services were able to provide him.

It was a notable response from the president, which month earlier revealed that he felt very differently.

In July 2024, Thomas Crooks, 20, sat on “a high position” above a building about 400 feet from Trump and was able to shoot several laps in the crowd. One of the Crooks bullets touched Trump’s ear, injured the crowd members and killed the former volunteer firefighters Corey Comperatore. A Wall Street Journal report said Crooks would have piloted a drone on the Pennsylvania site, capturing aerial images of the rally configuration before the incident. A few days later, the deputy director of the FBI, Dan Bongino, insisted that there was no plot behind the attempted assassination of Trump’s life.

We still know little about the Crooks of the end of 20 years, who tried to kill Trump during the Butler gathering. Investigators have still not shared the reason for Crooks.

Trump did an interview with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump to mark the anniversary of the nearby assassination attempt, telling him that the rally service agents just spent a “bad day”.
