A woman sprays the Bronx MTA bus driver opposite with an unknown substance in the last transit

A woman is wanted by cops for having assaulted a 33 -year -old MTA bus driver last week, police announced on Saturday. It was the fourth attack reported against New York public transport workers in May.

The cops said that the attacker approached the 33 -year -old driver and sprayed her in the face on May 19 around 8:40 a.m. on a BX10 bus in Bainbridge AV. and van Cortlandt ave. East in Norwood.

We did not know what substance the woman sprayed the bus driver.

The EMS transported the victim to the Montefiore Medical Center, where it was listed in a stable state.

The attacker wore dark clothes, a dark -colored baseball cap with a dodgers logo and a backpack.

The assault comes in the heels of a multitude of attacks against New York MTA workers in May.

On May 29, in Brooklyn, a man swinging a pipe tried to attack a 68 -year -old MTA cleaner at the Bergen St. station in Boerum Hill around 12:15 p.m. after the transit employee faced him, COPS said.

The man broke a call box with the pipe, said the cops. When the cleaner confronted him, the suspect said, “Why do you follow me?” Then swung the pipe twice, missing twice, said cops.

The cleaner caught the suspect, triggering a fight, the two men falling on the platform before the suspect gets up and fled. He is always sought after by cops.

EMS precipitated the Cleanner MTA at Nyu Langone Health-Cobble Hill, where he was treated for pain throughout his body and released.
