A preview of the match: Nashville SC welcomes DC United, US Open Cup Quarterfinal in Geodis Park

Wednesday’s match against DC United will be the third time that Nashville SC and DC United have been faced in 2025. The two teams of the Eastern Conference attracted 0-0 in the first meeting, while the Golden Boys took a 1-0 lead on DC United in Audi Field less than two weeks ago.

“Whenever we had the opportunity to play them, we learned a little more about ourselves and how to do it. And so we can’t wait to make these small adjustments and opportunities to improve and put it back [Wednesday] Night, ”said head coach BJ Callaghan.

Like all MLS teams, Nashville SC has joined the tournament in the third round. The Gold boys beat the Chattanooga Red Wolves 1-0 in their first match of the Open Cup year, graciously of a goal from Josh Bauer.
