A new study revealed that if each state in the United States is getting rid of the programs to add fluorine to water, children could obtain 25 million additional cavities in five years. Two states have already abandoned their fluorine program and others are considering it. Tom Costello of NBC News speaks with medical journalist Erika Edwards of what researchers have learned.
