Kathryn Bigelow’s thriller “A House of Dynamite” should be presented this fall – hit theaters in October and streaming on Netflix on October 24.
“When only one unrelated missile is launched in the United States, a race begins to determine who is responsible and how to react,” according to the line line. The streamer also described the film as “a new clear and visceral story of a filmmaker at the top of his game”.
Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts, Anthony Ramos, Jonah Hauer-King, Moses Ingram, Greta Lee, Jason Clarke, Malachi Beasley, Brian Tee, Brittany O’Grady, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Willa Fitzgerald, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Kyle Allen and Kaitlyn Dever will play in the last film of the Double Winner of the Oscars.
Bigelow made from a script of Noah Opppenheim, both which produced alongside Greg Shapiro. Executive producers included Brian Bell and Sarah Bremner, while Jeremy Hindle and Sumaiya Kaveh co -produced.
In addition, Barry Ackroyd was the director of photography, Jeremy Hindle was the production designer, Sarah Edwards was the costume designer and Kirk Baxter was the editor. Volker Bertelmann made music, Paul NJ Ottosson did the sound design and the cast was managed by Susanne Scheel.
“A House of Dynamite” will mark the filmmaker’s 11th film, after success like “Point Break”, “The Hurt Locker” and “Zero Dark Thirty”. Bigelow became the first woman to win the Academy for best director with “The Hurt Locker” in 2009 (which also won the best film that year).
“A House of Dynamite” arrives in Netflix on October 24 and in theaters the same month.
