Diane Keaton’s former Beverly Hills home is listed for $25 million

The late Diane Keaton’s legacy as a home renovator continues as the home she renovated has been listed for $25 million.
The Oscar winner died earlier this month of pneumonia at the age of 79. She was appreciated for her roles in Something has to give (2003), Reds (1981), Marvin’s room (1996), the Father of the bride films from 1991 and ’95, The First Wives Club (1996) and Annie Hall (1977), which won her the Oscar for best actress. However, she was also known for renovating houses. She earned the nickname “serial house flipper” due to her long history of fixing up properties.
One of Keaton’s former homes, a Beverly Hills mansion, is now on the market for $25 million. Keaton owned the house from 2007 to 2010. Then it was sold to Ryan Murphy (creator of Monster, American Horror Story, Everything is Fine) for $10 million. The home is currently listed with Branden Williams and Rayni Williams of Beverly Hills Estates.
The actress made updates to the 1927 Spanish Colonial Revival-style estate. “My feeling is you find an authentic house and you try to restore it in an authentic way,” Keaton said. Architectural compendium during a tour of the house in 1999. “I wanted a Spanish Colonial style because I am in love with California and our history. I see it in a romantic way: the ’20s, indoor-outdoor living, arches, comfort. California is full of beauty. My fantasy would be to continue buying houses representative of California architecture and restoring them.”
The Los Angeles mansion has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and measures approximately 8,400 square feet. There’s also a pool and spa, sports court, fireplace, guest house, gym, wine cellar, two-car garage, and several living and dining areas.
