Poweshiek County, Iowa (KCRG) – An accident of three vehicles on the I -80 killed Thursday.
The accident occurred when a semi-voyage in the direction has hit another semi vehicle and pilot parked along the shoulder of the road.
The semi-stated on the shoulder of the road transported an oversized load and moved there after one of its trailer tires exploded. After the tire exploded, the pilot vehicle parked behind the semi in order to take care of the tire.
The driver of the pilot vehicle, Brenton Fergia, 55, was outside working on the tire when another semi-voyage in the direction is hit the pilot vehicle and the back of the semi-stated on the shoulder of the road.
Fergia died following the accident.
