For several weeks now, we have heard that Alexa Bliss has been ready to return to WWE television. Now it seems that this return could be soon … and maybe this evening (May 9).
As you will probably remember, Bliss has made its first appearance for the company since 2023 when it fought in the Royal Rumble on February 1. In the coming weeks, seeds have been planted so that its story crosses with Bo Dallas / Uncle Howdy and Wyatt Sicks – and continues by Alexa of Alexa with Dallas’s brother and his friend, Bay Wyatt.
BO apparently underwent an injury that has suspended these plans, and the decision would have been made to keep television on television until Dallas was authorized to return so that their angle can begin.
Why do we say it could be tonight? In a report behind their Elite paid wall, Pwinsider reports that Bliss should be on Friday show in Dayton, Ohio (just an hour’s drive from Columbus, where Alexa grew). The site does not know if it will return to the screen on SmackDown this week, but Insider stressed that “it is not there without reason”.
Fightful Select had a similar element, noting that Bliss “seems to return to the imminent road, although we do not know when it should be used.”
Will it be tonight? Yowie Wowie! We will discover it in just a few hours …
