Chelsea unloading Armando Broja in Burnley for 20 million pounds sterling

Burnley signed the Armando Broja striker of Chelsea for costs that are in the region of 20 million pounds sterling.

Broja spent last season on Everton last season, but the injuries limited him to only 11 appearances in the first team.

The 23-year-old has struggled to maintain his physical form throughout his career, making 58 appearances in the last three seasons, including a loan to Fulham in 2023-24.

Burnley Hand Broja A five -year agreement

Despite this, Burnley gave him a five -year contract as they seek to strengthen their team after a promotion last season.

The Albanian international said: “I am really excited to be here as a Burnley player.

“It’s a really positive moment to join this club before the start of the new Premier League season. I can’t wait to start!”

He added: “I feel good, I am ready and I am excited by the challenge of playing for this club.

“I can already feel the support of Burnley fans – I can tell you everything I will give everything every time I shoot on the famous Claret shirt.”

Broja is Burnley’s ninth signature of an eventful summer and he will bind with the team before the friendly match of this weekend against Lazio at Turf Moor.
