“All he does is take the measures of the red carpet.” Tribeca Films revealed an official trailer for an independent film titled The firstA meta comedy on a director trying to transform his favorite film into a musical. Of the two filmmakers Christopher Bouckoms and Sam Pezzullo, it initially made his debut last year and will be there to watch on VOD this month. The first is a false documentary on a producer of narcissistic theater, Sam (Pezzullo himself), creating a documentary of his trip to stage a musical version of his favorite film, Shout (YEP, The 1996 Slasher Horror Classic). Along the way, he ran into original characters played by real hamptons residents, clumsy and scandalous results. Inspired by the classics of creating comedy and made largely thanks to improvisation, The first is a lively satire on the Hamptons with a biting love letter to the base at the base. With Sam Pezzullo,, Kristen Curcie,, Mohna Jump,, Ruby JacksonAnd Alan Ceppos. The film concerns the community of Hamptons as much as to put a musical as on the Shout movie. Many things in progress! Inspired by the classics of grumpy comedy, the first is a largely improvised comedy that blurs the border between facts and fiction. Sam (played by Pezzullo himself), a painfully narcissistic and delirious theater producer, tries to make a musical version of his favorite film, ShoutIn a local theater in the city of Sag Harbor, New York, meeting a series of clumsy and scandalous scenarios along the way. Supported by a cast of original characters and premises of real life, the film is both a love letter and a satirical commentary on the Hamptons which breaks the traditional narration mold, described by filmmakers simply as a false documentary on a documentary on the creation of a musical on a film. The first is written and produced by two independent filmmakers Christopher Bouckoms & Sam PezzulloBoth making their director debut with this project. It is also produced by Bouckoms & Pezzullo.
