Social media is due by a false Instagram publication of TCU quarterrier, Josh Hoover, saying that it is a fur
Don’t worry about TCU fans, that’s wrong.
We are a few weeks before the university football season, so this is this time of year when everyone generally feels very well in their team. I mean, unless you are a fan of a team like Texas or Ohio State, there is a good chance that it is the best that you will feel about your team all year round, then once the season will start reality and your mental health depends on the way a group of 18-21 years plays on Saturday.
At least it’s like that for me.
But TCU fans had a fear recently, and probably started to question their team even before the start of the season, when a message began to claim to come from the starting quarter Josh Hoover to attend a fur agreement.
Now, if you are not familiar with all the lifestyle “Furry”, let me explain to you. The “furies” are people who like to dress in elaborate animal costumes. Honestly, I don’t know if it is a sexual thing or not, although they always say that this is not. But they have whole fur conventions and meetings and things like that. It’s weird.
But in any case, the post pretending to come from the Hoover IG showed a group of furs during an agreement:
And of course, the Internet was unleashed after Hoover was supposed to be the first university football player to go out in fur:
Fortunately for Fans of Frogs Horned, Hoover’s Instagram post is false.
The original photo came from a Reddit article in the Sandret R / Furry (do not bother to check it, I did it and it is a strange place) which was initially published a month ago.
It seems that a lot of messages on Hoover being a fur come from fans of rival schools like SMU and Baylor, as well as the opponent of the week 1 of Horned Frogs, so maybe it is their way of embarking on the head of their opponents during the offseason. Maybe they are bored and wanted to start a rumor on the opposing QB. Who knows.
And listen, I did not contact Hoover to comment so I cannot say for a 100% certainty that it is not fur. But I can confirm that the Instagram publication that is presenting is wrong.
Honestly, however, I am a big fan of this kind of manure fishing. Of course, launching sex toys on WNBA games is funny, but starting a rumor that your opponent’s star player is a crazy and dropping the whole internet is a bit hilarious, especially since it is quite harmless.
But whether it is true or not, you just know that Hoover will get all kinds of fur jokes launched on its way when it is on the road. And it looks like the interest of the post.
The post Social Media is deceived by the false Instagram publication of TCU quarter-back, Josh Hoover, saying that he is a fur oven appeared for the first time on Riff Whiskey.
