RAVENS grant a significant value on the joint practice to come against the colts
Tuesday’s joint practice with the Indianapolis colts will give the ravens something they want – live representatives against another team.
Baltimore will welcome the Indianapolis colts on Thursday evening to open his pre-season, but the Ravens starters will not play in this match. This makes Tuesday’s joint practice particularly important for the offense and defense of the first team.
“I told the guys that it was two games this week, it’s Tuesday and Thursday,” said defensive coordinator Zach Orr. “No matter where you are in your career, you could be a Prorennial Pro Bowl All-Pro, you could be a guy who is fighting to make the list, whenever you walk on this field, you fight for your career. You are assessed. You have to think that way. You have to adopt this approach.”
The rear of the Pro Bowl, Patrick Ricard, echoes this feeling and understands why temperatures evade frequently during joint practices, sometimes leading to fights.
“The guys are fighting for their work, their livelihoods,” said Ricard. “Things end up becoming Chippy. You don’t really know the guy. Tempers Flare. I think the last time we had a joint practice against the colts, we had a complete team fight. I hope it will not happen again.”
Due to this possibility, this year’s joint practices will only last one day.
“We used to do two days, which we somehow exceeded this,” said head coach John Harbaugh. “The second day is only a day Chippy – a cheap day of shooting. (Colts head coach) Shane (Steichen) is doing a great job, [and the] (Washington) The commanders are the same with (head coach) dan [Quinn]. We expect it to be good own practices. “”
The attacking coordinator Todd Monken wants to see Lamar Jackson direct the attack on a different opponent, rather than a daily dose of the defense of the Ravens.
“You get a blow against other skills, other concepts,” said Monken. “When you go against another team, it’s like the first day. It’s time to compete. I’m excited.”
