The boss of DC, James Gunn, closes the rumors of Batman 2 and Teen Titans saying that “everything” you heard is either a “assumption” or “made up”

With some highly anticipated DC projects in preparation, the co-chief of DC James Gunn studios tries to prevent rumors from spreading too far. While answering questions about The Batman 2 and The Teen Titans live, Gunn told fans not to believe everything they saw online.
“Everything you heard about this film [Teen Titans] is invented or a supposition. No one in the world knows nothing about the concept of history, except four people, “he wrote on the sons.
Gunn said last week that the DCU Teen Titans “does not exist”, because the project is not a priority for the new superhero franchise at the moment. In March 2024, DC announced that the writer of Supergirl Ana Nogueira wrote the script, but she has fully focused on Wonder Woman “for some time”. This means that, as Gunn said, nothing has been stone on the Teen Titans, so all the rumors are probably false.
In another message on the threads, after a fan asked if Hush would be part of Batman 2, Gunn repeated: “Again, all you heard is a total or composed assumption.”
While Teen Titans is still in the first stadiums, Batman 2 should land in the cinemas in 2027, with the shooting which should start shortly after several delays. Gunn recently declared that production on Batman 2 would “immediately” begin to buy the script, Robert Pattinson returning the Caped Crusader.
Teen Titans and Batman’s planned suite are only two of the many DCU films and programs that are exciting the fans at the moment. Gunn recently confirmed that 9 additional DC projects are in preparation, including another Batman film, The Brave and the Bold, which has not yet announced its main star.
The next step on the DC calendar is season 2 Peacemaker, which is expected to be released on August 21 on HBO Max in the United States and Sky in the United Kingdom.
