Chelsea continuing the agreement to sign “Electric” Star of 40 million pounds sterling

It is almost time for Chelsea to return to the action.
The blues will suffer a truncated pre-season calendar, after winning the club World Cup on July 13, surprisingly defeating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the New Jersey final.
Thus, the Enzo Maresca team will only have two pre-season games before their first Premier League match, welcoming Bayer Leverkusen to Stamford Bridge on Friday evening, before taking AC Milan in West London on Sunday.
Before that, will the blues continue to make more signatures?
Chelsea’s search for even more attackers
Just to say, Maresca has many attack options at her disposal.
Estêvão Willian, Jamie Gittens, João Pedro and Liam Delap have already arrived this summer, but the blues are far from finished, with potentially two new attackers on their way.
First, as James Olley d’Espn reported, Chelsea is about to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig for reported costs of 50 million euros (around 44 million pounds sterling), the Dutchman who wants to move.
Meanwhile, as Fabrizio Romano reported, Chelsea still continues Alejandro Garnacho de Manchester United, adding that “No Talks” started again, but the Argentinian is “lively” in motion.
Elsewhere, Romano notes that the transfer “should not be imminent” but that Garanacho favors a move to Chelsea, the blues focusing on expenses for the moment.
Garnacho was invited to find a new club of the manager Rúben Amorim in May. Is currently part of the famous “ Bomb Squad ” from Man United, not with the team of the first team in the United States, rather left in Carrington, alongside its comrades of Paria Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.
Barely a few weeks ago, it was reported that Man United assessed Garnacho at 70 million pounds sterling. However, now that it is knowledge of the public that it has been put aside, James Ducker of Telegraph thinks that it is available for 40 million pounds sterling, with Chelsea in pole position to break it.
What Alejandro Garnacho would bring to Chelsea
At the start of the window, Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian reported that Chelsea `Priorizes the addition” of a left winger on right foot, with Garnacho their target for this role.
His performances for Manchester United certainly drew attention, Statman Dave qualifying him one of the two “most brilliant talents on the planet” as recently as in October, alongside Lamine Yamal, which is truly praise.
Elsewhere, Kurosh Moghtader of Total Football Analysis labels him a “reliable attack outlet” which always has “room for improvement”, with Andy Mitten of athletics believing that his “work rate” and the finish have both improved in recent times.
When you are looking to compare Garnacho to a former chelsea player from the past not too distant, he is stylistically similar to Joe Cole.
Like Garnacho, Cole arrived from a premier league rival at 22 in 2003, namely West Ham United, after crossing the Hammers Academy, and had an impact during his seven seasons at Stamford Bridge.
In Chelsea Blue, Cole played 282 appearances, scoring 39 goals and recording 47 assists, winning three Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the EFL Cup.
To his best, Tom Mason of the Guardian thinks that Cole was “breathtaking”, praising his “creativity, his flair, his technical capacity and his vision”, adding that he was “always willing to receive a pass and assume responsibility”.
Meanwhile, Sam Wallace of The Independent Anals Son “ Silky Touch ”, noting that his best years have passed under José Mourinho when she was deployed as a leftIe in a “clearly defined” role.
Well, in the current configuration of Maresca, Garnacho, who was greeted as “electric” by Statman Dave, could certainly prosper in the same way.
So, assess how Cole at West Ham and Garnacho in Manchester United compare to each other.

As the table documents, during the comparison of Garnacho these days in Cole just before its move to Chelsea, the English was more experienced, but the Argentinian had produced a greater production in terms of objectives and assists.
Cole arrived in the summer of 2003 as part of the first frenzy of expenses of Roman Abramovich, alongside Claude Makelélé, Hernán Crespo, Adrian Mutu, Juan Sebastián Verón, Scott Parker, Glen Johnson, Alexey Smertin, Geremi, Wayne Bridge, Damien Duff and many.
Well, 22 years later, Chelsea adopts a similar approach on the transfer market, and all the evidence available suggest that Garnacho could prosper in the same way.
