Journalist Graeme Bailey confirmed that the Merseyside Club began talks with the Saudi Pro League for the transfer of Nunez.
He said:
“Liverpool has a lot in progress, and sales are part of their summer as well as the main credits. Diaz is finished, but Nunez has always been considered the big sale.
“Liverpool respects a lot of bare, they think that it is a high level talent but it did not work for him and he accepts that too. He saw Wirtz and Ekitike enter and knows they want Isak – he knows that there is little future for him.
“Nunez knows that it is very unlikely that he will obtain his move in Europe and that has seen him accept a potential element in Saudi Arabia.”

The Saudi clubs Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli are interested in a decision for the Liverpool striker and they are fighting for his signature.
The striker showed lightning lightning during his stay in Anfield but did not find the expected coherence of an attacker leading the line for a club as large as Liverpool. This is why they are continuing Isak this summer which has been a more coherent artist in recent seasons.
