Efforts have increased for two attacker targets

Newcastle remained in shock earlier this week when Alexander Isak reported his intention to leave, but efforts are now made to replace him. In fact, there could soon be two attackers who soon arrive in St James’ Park.
After being informed by Isak that he wanted to consider a move, Newcastle quickly moved to secure a replacement. They have already missed the tastes of Joao Pedro, Hugo Ekitike and Liam Delap, but that did not dissuade the limited sports department of the club.
Newcastle advancing for Benjamin Sesko and Yoane Wissa
Newcastle turned their attention to Benjamin Sesko in their efforts to sign a replacement for Isak, and according to Ben Jacobs, they work simultaneously on the offers for him and Yoane Wissa de Brentford.
Sesko, who previously aroused the interest of Arsenal and Man United, would be open to joining Newcastle this summer, because it would allow him to realize his dream of playing in the Premier League. Wissa, who scored 19 goals in the English elite last season, has already agreed personal terms with the title champions of the Carabao Cup.
This has been a disastrous summer transfer window so far for Newcastle, and this has only been aggravated by the news of Isak’s desire to leave. However, there is a determination to obtain important reinforcements for the Eddie Howe team, which is necessary before a return to the Champions League.
It remains to be seen if Newcastle can conclude offers for Sesko and Wissa. The latter is more likely at this stage, especially since a decision for him does not depend on what is happening with Isak, who will only be replaced if he leaves St James park before the end of the summer transfer window, which ends for business in September.
