Building fires breaks in front of the UNLV campus

Las Vegas (KSNV) – The crews respond to a building fire that broke out near the UNLV campus on Friday morning.

The fire was reported around 8:12 a.m. in Maryland Parkway block 4600, just north of Tropicana avenue, according to the Dispatch Pulsepoint website.

Heavy flames and a large plume of smoke could be seen from the several storey building. The firefighters could be seen the building with several lines of pipe.

No other details were immediately available.
