Jack Wolfe to play Hamestown on Broadway

The winter winner Jack Wolfe will join the Broadway company in Hadestown Later this year.

Wolfe, who won the best support artist in a musical at 2024 Whatsonstage Awards for his performance in Next to normalshould resume the role of orphan at the Walter Kerr Theater this fall. His performance in the role in Broadway marks his debut on the New York stage.

He will be joined by Descendants star Morgan Dudley (Eurydice), Tony Winner Paulo Szot (Hades), Stereophonic Star Rebecca Jones (Persephone) and Grammy winning Kurt Elling (Hermes), marking the fist time that the main distribution has been modified at the same time since 2019.

The new casting will start from September 2, 2025, although Wolfe does not occur from September 9 to 21.

HadestownWritten by Anaïs Mitchell and directed by Rachel Chavkin, reinvents the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice with a partition of folk and jazz inspiration. The musical opened its doors in Broadway in 2019 and won eight Tony Awards, including the best musical.

The show also continues its race to the west at the Lyric Theater.
