Pep Guardiola sings and emotional Jack Grenish declares love for the city in Oasis Gig

Oasis has made a thunderous return to the Heaton Park in Manchester, performing live in his hometown for the first time since 2009.

More than 70,000 fans have wrapped the place to see Liam and Noel Gallagher come together – and among them were two familiar faces on the blue of Manchester: Pep Guardiola and Jack Grenish.

But while the two men of Manchester City clearly had a good time, they appreciated the night in very different styles.

The director of the city, Guardiola, attended the show with his daughter Maria and was seen with passion singing with the emblematic anthem “Don’t look back in anger.”

The Gallagher Brothers – Both fans of the city for life – even gave Pep a special cry of the scene, describing it as “the biggest manager of all time”. This comment attracted some groans on the red side of Manchester, but applauds the blues.

PEP was also represented behind the scenes with the children of Liam and Noel: Lennon, Gene, Anais, Donovan and Sonny. Gene Gallagher shared a snapshot from Reunion on Instagram, proudly calling it the “photo of the century”.

Meanwhile, Grenish had more emotional evening.

Accompanied by his partner Sasha Attwood, the city midfielder seemed to take advantage of the festivities. Towards the end of the night, Grenish was spotted at the VIP barrier, where he was recognized by a group of fans of the city.

In a comforting moment, it was filmed “Crying His Heart Out”, declaring passionately: “I love City more than anything! And do you know what I like more than anything? Fans of the city! These are the best fans in the world!”

Although the future of Grenalish at the club remains uncertain, his affection for fans certainly does not do so.

And in a way, the night of Pep and Jack reflected the Gallagher brothers themselves: one measured and masterful, the other raw, noisy and carrying his heart on his sleeve. Different energies – same love for music and for Manchester City.
