Arsenal makes Viktor Gyokerres their highest transfer target this summer

Arsenal identified the sportsman at CP Viktor Gyokerres as their main target for the next summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.
Despite previous reports suggesting that Manchester United was about to obtain the signature of Gyokerres, Arsenal is now considered as precursors in the race to sign the attacker.
The Gunners are desperately looking to add attackers to their team this summer after having failed once again to end their trophy drought.
In the race for the title of the Premier League, they lost the Arne Slot team in Liverpool while they were in the semi-finals of the Champions League, they were beaten convincingly by Paris Saint-Germain.
Arsenal lacks deadly presence at the front
It was another season that showed that they were lacking a threat from an appropriate scorer in the team.
With Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus with long -term injuries, the Gunners had trouble scoring goals, but even despite all the problems, Mikel Merino has performed well when he is transformed by fortune.
The new sports director of the club, Andrea Berta, would be an ardent defender of the signature of Gyokerres, considering him as a player who can make the difference for the Gunners.
Gyokerres had a remarkable season with the Sports CP, scoring 52 goals and providing 13 assists all competitions.
Gunners can sign the attacker for 60 million pounds sterling, which should not be a problem for them.
Man United is also interested in Gyokerres
The only obstacle they face by signing the Swedish international striker is the interest of their Manchester United rivals.
Ruben Amorim has a strong link with the attacker because of his working relationship at Sporting CP. The Portuguese manager can convince the attacker to reject the artillerymen in favor of a move to Old Trafford.
The Northern London team has also shown its interest in sign the Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, but it remains to be seen if they can afford its high prices.
