This time, he tackles a delicate subject and manages it free of charge. Davenport discovers abuses of shocking power while amplifying all the voices of the community of disabled people fighting for justice and dignity in a question of life and death. In 1983, disabled Elizabeth Bouvia wanted the right to die, triggering a national debate. After legal battles, she disappeared. The disabled director Reid Davenport today explores the relevance of her fate and history. I wrote in my positive criticism of the Film Film of Sundance 2025 that this film is remarkably fascinating. “He wants us to have a real discussion.” And he brings so many people that everyone has interesting taken. It is such a remarkable film that I will highly recommend to all those who want to engage in this kind of conversation. Take a look below.
