Abhishek Nayar opened its doors to his role in KL Rahul aid to bring out an aggressive perspective, as requested by Rohit Sharma
The former assistant coach of India, Abhishek Nayar, revealed how he had played a central role by highlighting a more aggressive KL Rahul in the recent past. The striker has been impressive in the past six months, from Australia to the Champions Trophy at IPL 2025 and now in England. Nayar, who was chopped earlier this year, said it took him hours and hours of conversation with Rahul to make him accept that he needed a tactical change.

In an interview with Espncricinfo, Nayar explained that Captain Rohit Sharma wanted the assistant coach to release a more aggressive Rahul in terms of play such a cricket brand.
