Dolly Parton has not been on the road since her “pure and simple” tour ended in 2016, with only comprehensive concerts not dispersed in the years that followed. Thus, fans understand how the emissions of the superstar country-pop are therefore as an announcement that it made on Monday morning: Parton will make a race of six concerts at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in December.
Officially named “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas”, the mini-residence will take place in the station from December 4 to December 13. Fans will of course hope to an extension on this subject, given the probable demand, but for the moment, at least, it is known for half a dozen plant books during national networks.
Tickets will be on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.
No special presale was announced before this general date on the sale. But VIP packages are promised for fans who want to make an additional effort. According to the announcement made Monday morning, “the offers can include a personal photo session with Dolly herself, a tour on stage, access to the Rhinestone Salon in Dolly, a set of luxury gifts and more.”
“To say that I am excited would be an understatement. I have not worked in Vegas for years and I have always liked to sing there,” Parton said in a statement. “I am so impatient of the shows in the Caesars colosseum and I hope you are too. See you there. ”
The previous race to which Parton referred was at Mirage in the early 90s, much larger than it was initially announced. From 1990 to 1993, the singer played nearly 50 shows in Mirage.
Few other details have been offered on the shows, apart from this “Live in Las Vegas” will be “a concert event focused on successes”, in case someone imagined that they will not hear “Jolene”, “I will always love you” or “9 to 5.”
