When “Hollywood Squares” won Big in 1975: Hollywood Flashback

Hollywood squares had been presented as a pilot on NBC in 1965, with the premise that the famous panelists in a giant aid help (or hinder) the competitors by answering a question of the host. Three consecutive squares win the competitor’s money and prices.

When the show became a series in 1966, Peter Marshall signed as a temporary host after the pilot host Bert Parks became unavailable.
