Arsenal is interested in signing the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Warren Zaire-Emery, this summer.
According to a TBR Football report, they initiated contacts to sign the 19 -year -old midfielder, and they were investigated. It will be interesting to see if they follow the investigation with an official offer to sign the player.
The midfielder was recently linked to Liverpool. Manchester City has also tried to sign it in the past.
PSG prospect needs a new start
The 19 -year -old was not a regular starter for French outfit, and he must play more often. Arsenal will be able to offer him more opportunities. He started 23 league games last season.
They need more depth in the middle of the park, and Zaire-Emery could be the ideal long-term acquisition. It can operate as a deep playmaker as well as a defensive midfielder. He will add control, composure and defensive blanket to the side.
The opportunity to join one of the biggest clubs in the world will be exciting enough for him. Arsenal has done well to feed young players over the years, and they could play a key role in its development. They could help him make his enormous potential.
Arsenal hopes to win the League title next season, and they will also do well in the UEFA Champions League. They need a deeper team with more options. Mikel Arteta will have to rotate his players more often in order to keep them cool for a long campaign. The signing of the 19 -year -old midfielder could prove to be a wise decision.
Warren Zaire-Emery is highly evaluated
The midfielder is very well evaluated by the former manager of Arsenal and legend of the Club Arsene Wenger.
Wenger said of Zaïre-Emery in 2023: “We are talking about a boy endowed with super talent. He flowered exceptionally early. This is why he was called by Didier [Deschamps].
“To a certain extent, it reminds me of Kylian Mbappé in the sense that people are already unanimous on him, at an age when, in general, everyone says:” He is talented, yes, but let’s see “.”
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can negotiate a reasonable agreement to sign the player. It is not an essential asset for PSG, and they could be tempted to sell at the right price.
