Star Wars sets up a Major Mandalorian Retcon who rewrites the ancient history of the galaxy

Star Wars Maybe just install an exciting Mandalorian Retcon, the one who effectively rewrites the ancient history of the galaxy in a fairly fascinating way. As seen in The Mandalorian Series on Disney +, a great accent was put on the Darksaber, the emblematic weapon which appeared for the first time in Clone wars And Rebels Animated series. However, what we currently know about its origins and its first carrier can only be half of history.

Currently, it has been confirmed in the workbench Star Wars Canon that Darksaber dates back to the time of the old Republic. The unique weapon was forged by Tar Vizsla, the first (and rare) Jedi Mandalorian knight. However, new details on the Star Wars The ancient history of Galaxy may have laid the foundations for a fascinating retic, which could help explain Vizsla’s somewhat confusing story as a Mandalorian and Jedi, and what the Darksaber represents fully.

There has always been something strange at Tar Vizsla

The two Mandalorian and Jedi chefs?

In short, we only know a few things about Tar Vizsla in the current Star Wars cannon,, The first Mandalorian to be inducted in Jedi order, just over 1000 years before the start of the Skywalker saga. During his time among the Jedi order, Vizsla forged the Darks saber, a black blade saber, unlike any laser saber brandished by his Jedi companion with a forged handle of Beskar. However, we also know that the Darksaber was the symbol of the Vizsla de Mandalore clan that Tarre founded, and that Tar himself has also become Mand’alor, the sovereign of the planet.

When Vizsla passed, the Darksaber was held in the corridors of the Jedi temple until it is “stolen” by members of its house during the “fall of the old Republic”. The statues were erected in his name, and the heritage of Tar Vizsla lived through the Darksaber, a symbol of leadership throughout the generations. However, the story of Vizsla has never made sense because it is short on certain key details.

Some key questions about Tar Vizsla always need to answer. Why did the Jedi induced a Mandalorian in their ranks, given the hostilities recorded between the two groups during the old Republic? In addition, why would the Jedi and Mandalorians venerate the Darksaber? After all, the Jedi guarding him in the temple after his death seems somewhat strange, given his meaning for Mandalore as a whole.

Surprisingly, some of the answers to the questions above on Tar Vizla can reside in a recent revelation on the old canonical republic and the Sith lords. Thanks to the recently published publication Star Wars: The Acolyte Visual Guide By Pablo Hidalgo, we now know how much the dark age known as “Fall of the Old Republic” was really really. According to the new guide, the Sith actually won over the galaxy during this period, explaining why the old Republic finally ended.

The Jedi are undoubtedly the main part of the Star Wars franchise, making moments that define their particularly important tradition. These are the best 10!

It is also remarkable that Star Wars Documents have established that the era of the next High Republic began once the reign of Dark Bane was put in its. This suggests that Dark Bane has once ruled an empire, a great deviation from the history of the Lord of the Sith in the stories of Pré-Disney, which are now non-canonical legends. Essentially, the idea is that the eras of the ancient and high republic were marked by a major takeover of the Sith. Likewise, this would explain better than Palpatine Revenge of the Sith Line with the rise of his own empire: “Once again, the Sith will govern the galaxy“(Give the Sith a specific period in which they actually reigned).

I think Tar Vizsla directed the Mandalorians against the Sith

End the Jedi / Mandalorian rivalry

The “fall of the old Republic” involving the rise of a Sith Empire could help to fill the gaps in the history of Tar Vizsla in a few key manners. Faced with dark forces, the Jedi may be more desperate to increase their ranks. This would explain their very first induction of a Mandalorian despite the past tensions.

This could also help explain the bizarre and unique status of Tarre because as a Jedi knight both and the planetary sovereign of Mandalore. Maybe Vizsla ended up unifying the Mandalorian clans in an alliance with the Jedi Order against the Sith. Not only would this give Mandalore a key galactic meaning for the first time Star Wars History, but Tar Vizsla would also be recognized for having ended the old rivalry between Jedi and Mandalorians, having shot them against a much greater galactic threat.

If I’m right, Tar Vizsla fell into the battle against the Sith

Change the story of the Darksaber flight

The last piece of the puzzle is the Darksaber “stolen” by the Vizsla house of the Jedi temple once Vizsla died during the fall of the old Republic. This was first claimed by the Mandalorian death surveillance leader pre vizsla Wars’ clone “The Mandalore intrigue “and was then corroborated by the Mandalorian Fenn Rau and the Jedi Kanan Jarrus knight Rebels“” Trials of the Darksaber “. If the theory above is true and the Jedi and the Mandalorians were united against the Sith, perhaps the Darksaber was removed from the temple while the Sith took control of Coruscant, forcing the Jedi to flee.

In this new proposed context, the Mandalorians taking the blade of the Jedi temple would rather be a noble act. Keeping the blade out of the hands of Dark Bane and its empire would guarantee that it could always be used as a symbol of continuous unit against the Sith conquerors. Although one theory, there seems to be solid evidence that could very well be true. We can only hope that we can see something in these lines on the screen one day, whenever Lucasfilm finally decides to explore the era of the old Republic correctly and canonically.

This would explain why Darksaber has become so important for Mandalorians

A symbol of unity in the face of a great danger

The concept of Tar Vizsla brandishing the Darksaber and dying at a time when the Sith conquer the galaxy are fascinating. This would give even greater meaning to the symbolism of Darksaber, having been exercised by their leaders at times when the galaxy was the darkest, and first at a period when the Sith were dominant, a symbol of their unity in the face of a greater danger. In this spirit, the resurfacing of Darksaber during the wars of clones and the dark times of the Empire of Palpatine becomes even more significant in the establishment Star Wars Canon.
