Walker Buehler, Red Sox Take Series Decdider vs Rays

Walker Buehler worked on the start of seven-round quality and obtained the support of four solo circuits while the Boston Red Sox beat the Rays of Tampa Bay 4-3 in the rubber game of a series of three games on Wednesday.
Marcelo Mayer dominated each of the first two at-bats, the 22-year-old recruit becoming the youngest player of the Red Sox to produce a multi-homes game from Rafael Devers in 2018.
Jarren Duran struck a home run in advance during the first round and Abraham Toro reduced the possible winning shot to the fifth after Tampa Bay erased a deficit of 3-1.
Toro and Ceddanne Rafaela joined Mayer with multi-cut matches for Boston, which won consecutive series.
Buehler (5-4) withdrew seven to Saturday while giving three points on six strokes and a walk. AROLDIS CHAPMAN withdrawn two from a ninth 1-2-3 for its 12th judgment.
Yandy Diaz (two -point Homer), Brandon Lowe and Jake Mangum all had two strokes for Tampa Bay.
Tampa Bay’s right-hander, Zack Littell (6-6), allowed the four Boston circuits when it came out of six rounds. He authorized eight sure, attracted six and did not make a walk.
After Buehler failed two Baserunners to display a first-round zero, Duran struck the first launch of the Littell match in the enclosure of the right fields gave the hosts a quick advance of 1-0.
The Rays responded quickly while the consecutive singles of Mangum and Matt Thaiss fixed the table for a stroke for a tie in the second. Lowe struck Mangum on a defensive player choice field at the stop stop.
Mayer gave the Red Sox alone and provided insurance with his solo blows. Its first circuit led the second round, landing deeply in the right -back corner.
Mayer is started with one by a withdrawal in the fourth, sending another circuit to a similar location on the right.
The offensive of two outings attracted Tampa Bay even to the fifth. After Lowe cut a simple inner field on an open left side, Diaz deposited a two -point circuit in the first rows of the right field seats.
After Littell recorded three consecutive hems by removing the stick in the fourth and fifth, Toro launched a circuit in the center directly for an advantage of 4-3.
Buehler retired seven consecutive to finish his release before Justin Wilson and Greg Weissert combined to get out of an eighth round jam, preserving the head in Boston. A walk towards Junior Caminero and a simple mangum off Weissert loaded the basics, but Thaiss attracted the threat.
