Arsenal and Man United are both on the market for a new striker this summer, and they both put the obstacle to Viktor Gyokerres. The man of the CP Sporting should move in the Premier League after an incredible score season in 2024-25, in which he found the bottom of the net 54 times in just 52 appearances.
In recent days, Man United has aroused their interest in Gyokerres, that they hope to finish their trident attacker alongside Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. But the chances of bringing him with Ruben Amorim to Old Trafford seem to have reduced.

According to The Mirror, Gyokerres prefers to join Arsenal this summer, and this was said to have been communicated to sport. The Gunners have it and Benjamin Sesko as their two candidates for the attacker’s position, and despite a recent movement for the man RB Leipzig, these developments could see them change.
Athletes are ready to sell gyokerres this summer after two years at the club, in which he scored 97 goals in just 102 appearances in all competitions. They require costs over 60 million pounds sterling, which would be affordable for Arsenal.
Although this news is not excellent for Man United, we think that Gyokerres would always welcome a move to Old Trafford if it were to materialize. And in the event that Arsenal prioritizes the signing of SESKO, it would give the beaten finalists of the Europa League a very good chance of obtaining their man.
It remains to be seen where Gyokerers ends this summer. Arsenal may have the advantage now, but there is still every chance that the prolific Swedish striker ends up joining the former manager Amorim in Man United.
