Ruben Amorim preferred the target target attacker

After concluding an agreement with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo, Man United should start working on the signing of a new striker. And head coach Ruben Amorim has now identified his favorite target for the position.
A certain number of attackers were linked to moves to Man United this summer, notably Victor Osimhen and Liam Delap. The latter has already signed for Chelsea, while the first seems to be closer to reach Al Hilal. But no longer the favorite target for Amorim, which wants to be reunited with a familiar face.
Ruben Amorim wants to find Viktor Gyokerres
As Givemesport reported, Amorim urged Man United to sign Viktor Gyokerers this summer. It should be noted that official discussions have already taken place with Sporting CP, which is open for sale for costs in the region of 59 million pounds sterling.
As was the case with Matheus Cunha and Mbeumo, Gyokerres would be very interesting to move to Old Trafford despite the fact that Man United will not play in any European competition next season. The opportunity to connect again with Amorim is required to influence this position, although there is a chance that he does not find himself in Manchester.
Arsenal also plans Gyokerres, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. They have been following the Swedish international for some time, although the good news for Man United is that the Northern Londoners are supposed to prioritize a decision for Benjamin Sesko at this summer stage.
This could give Man United the window they need to continue an agreement for Gyokerres, although they may need to make sales first in order to be able to negotiate with sport. Nevertheless, there seems to be a good chance that Murim has his man.
