Some MN fraud investigations began under Biden, but Trump wants to change the subject

On Wednesday’s “MS NOW Reports,” co-host and The Atlantic editor Jonathan Lemire said some of the fraud investigations in Minnesota “actually started under the Biden administration.” But “it also seems like this is a time where…a lot of bad headlines around the White House, they’re desperate to change the subject.” » And the question has “become a very, very political question”.
Lemire said: “[T]it has become a very, very political issue. First of all, some of these investigations in Minnesota actually began during the Biden administration. So it was a Democratic administration. Certainly, there [are] We are concerned that the way the focus has been on the Somali immigrant population – very large in Minnesota – is being used to reinforce some of this administration’s harsher deportation rhetoric.
He continued: “And it also seems like this is a time where…a lot of bad headlines around the White House, they’re desperate to change the subject. And we’ve seen Vice President Vance and others repeatedly press this issue in recent days.”
