Old Year is about to say goodbye and there are only hours left before Times Square once again becomes the global epicenter of New Year’s celebrations. Hundreds of thousands of people will gather in New York’s iconic square to welcome 2026, and this year the Latin presence will shine bright thanks to Ana Barbaraone of the musical stars of the evening.
The Mexican singer will perform her hits this December 31, in front of a crowd that could exceed a million spectators, while millions more will follow the television broadcast from the United States and Latin America.
For Ana Bárbara, this moment represents an important step in her career, especially because of the opportunity to connect with the Latin audience residing in the United States, especially with the large Mexican community that lives in New York.
“Singing in New York, on such a special date and in front of our Latin people, is something that fills me with emotion. It’s an honor to be able to be there, share my music with Mexicans who live far from home and celebrate together the arrival of a new year,” said the singer.

The most anticipated moment of the night will be, like every year, the descent of the famous crystal ball, known this year as the “Constellation”.
This impressive contraption measures 12 feet in diameter, weighs more than 12,300 pounds, and is made up of 5,280 LED crystals and disks. When the lights go out, the sign with the numbers of the new year -on this occasionfrom 2026– lights up when it falls mMore than a ton of confetti on the crowd.
