Tanzania and Tunisia face off in a decisive clash in Group C

The Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah Olympique Annexe in Rabat hosts a crucial encounter in Group C as Tanzania and Tunisia battle it out for a place in the round of 16 of the TotalEnergies CAF Maroc Africa Cup of Nations 2025.

This match marks the first ever meeting between Tanzania and Tunisia in the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON final, adding further importance to an already high-stakes competition.

The two teams had previously only met in qualifying for the 2021 edition. Tunisia won a narrow 1-0 victory in Radès on November 13, 2020, thanks to Youssef Msakni’s decisive goal.

Tuesday’s clash sees Tunisia as hot favourites, with a slight advantage occupying second place behind Group C leaders Nigeria.

Tanzania, meanwhile, are third, with a point to their name after their 1-1 draw against Uganda.
