One of the best sci-fi films of the 2010s has landed on another free streaming site

In the early 2010s, various intriguing sci-fi productions have been developed for both the small and large screens, some of which have left lasting impressions on viewers and critics alike. One such gem is this 2014 Oscar winner directed by Alex Garland in his directorial debut. Title Ex Machinathe film debuted in the United States on April 10, 2015, a few months after its premiere at the BFI Southbank on December 16, 2014 and its UK debut on January 21, 2015. It has since been considered both critical and commercial success.

Since its release, Ex Machina was made available on several streaming platforms, in the United States and around the world. Not long ago, it landed on the popular free streaming house, Tubiand now it was made available to watch on another free platform — Pluto TVbefore the new year. Considered one of the best science fiction films of the 2010s, Ex Machina holds a certified fresh rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, with the consensus describing the film as “a visually polished work and an unusually engaging sci-fi feature.” Additionally, the film grossed over $36.8 million worldwide on a budget of $15 million, which may not have been a blockbuster, but it generated good profits. Additionally, during the 2016 Oscars, Ex Machina won Best Visual Effects while Garland was nominated for Best Original Screenplay.
