Rob Reiner’s children Romy and Jake take stock after their parents’ deaths

More than a week later Rob Reiner And Michele Reiner were murdered in their Los Angeles home, their children said they were planning a funeral, with their spokesperson saying People Dec. 22, “They will later share information about a memorial service to honor their parents.”
Meanwhile, the siblings are privately mourning the loss of the director and photographer, who was fatally stabbed in the early hours of Dec. 14, according to authorities.
“Jake and Romy Reiner remain grateful,” their rep added, “for the outpouring of love and support they have received.”
The couple, including the 32-year-old brother Nick Reiner is accused of killing Rob and Michele following a fight at Conan O’BrienChristmas celebration on December 13 – had previously asked the public to remain respectful while mourning.
“Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we feel every moment of every day,” Jake, 34, and Romy, 27, said in a Dec. 17 statement obtained by NBC News. “The horrible and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something no one should ever experience. They were not just our parents: they were our best friends.”
