The Deltarune 3 and 4 chapters have now been released, and it is already exploding on steam
DELTARUNE, the multi-chapter suite of the independent success of 2015, currently explodes in steam thanks to the release of chapters 3 and 4 this morning after years of anticipation.
The game itself has been in a certain format since 2018, when creator Toby Fox has published a series of cryptic tweets before dropping a harmless download entitled “Investigation program”. This download turned out to be the first chapter of a new game, Deltarune, whose name is an anagram for Undertale. After a cryptic introduction, the player controls a teenager named Kris who, with his Susie school intimidator, is deposited in a mysterious dark world and responsible for saving his citizens by a goat child named Ralsei.
The second chapter of Deltarune appeared in 2021, revealing something as an adventure format of the week when Kris and Susie visit the dark world several times in each chapter, meet a new villain, beat them alongside Ralsei and return home. In total, the game should have at least seven chapters in total, and we have known that three and four came today since Fox announced in April.
Deltarune, like Undertale, is an RPG based on the turn by Tour with Bullet Hell Mechanics, and offers a distribution of new characters and returning from its predecessor. However, its connection to Unterne itself is mysterious-the characters themselves have key differences compared to their undertale versions, nobody seems aware of the events of Unterral, and yet the game often wink and nods for the events of Inergy in a way that the players of the two will recognize, even if its casting in the universe.
While the game itself is loved for its wacky humor, its adorable characters, its unique fight and its fantastic soundtrack, a large part of what feeds almost rabid online interest is linked to the mystery of what, precisely, Deltaru EastAnd how he will finally connect with or will resolve some of the latent mysteries of the interview.
When writing these lines, Deltarune already has more than 100,000 players on Steam and is the 10th game most played on the Valve platform. He has already exceeded the number of advanced Deltarune and 2 de Deltarune steam players, despite $ 25. It is the best-selling game on Steam at the moment by income, before Counter-Strike 2, Eldenr Ring: Nightreign and Dune: Awakening. But its true popularity will be much greater, since Deltarune is also on PlayStation 4 and 5, and the consoles of the Xbox Now series, and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are launching this evening at midnight when the Switch 2 will officially be released.
