Evander Holyfield predicts Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua with fight ultimately scheduled for 2026

The Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight finally looks like it will happen next year and the predictions have already started to come to fruition.
After years of speculation, the long-awaited showdown between all of Britain’s heavyweights will now take place in late 2026.
Both Fury and Joshua are former heavyweight champions of the world, and even though they no longer hold either of those belts, this is still a massive fight in the sport, and now another heavyweight legend has shared his thoughts on the proposed fight.
Evander Holyfield is widely considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, holding the honor of being the only four-time world heavyweight champion in history and one of two men to go undisputed in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.
‘The Real Deal’ knows what it means to be involved in a heavyweight mega-fight, taking on the likes of Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Riddick Bowe and George Foreman during his career, and he revealed to Fight Hub TV who he picks for the Fury vs. Joshua clash.
“It would definitely be a good fight because both guys fight pretty much the same. I think Tyson Fury, he’s the type of guy that can make adjustments with him. I think he can outwork him.”
Joshua and Fury must first go through interim fights scheduled for earlier in 2026 before they meet, while Joshua also has to deal with his controversial clash with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, which takes place at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday, December 19.
