Margarida Corceiro shares photo with Lando Norris a day after driver sealed championship

A day after winning his first Formula 1 world title, Lando Norris appeared in an Instagram post shared by his girlfriend, Margarida Corceiro. It was the pair’s first public glimpse after Norris won his first championship with a consistent P3 at Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The model posted a photo of the two celebrating on a yacht in Abu Dhabi and captioned it:

“MY LITTLE WORLD CHAMPION 😭🧡 @lando”.

Lando Norris sealed the title with a measured performance in Abu Dhabi, where Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri finished P1 and P2. Norris nailed everything thrown at him – an early move from Piastri, pressure from Charles Leclerc and a wheel-to-wheel clash with Yuki Tsunoda – bringing the car back to third place. The result was enough for him to win his first championship by two points.

Norris celebrated in parc ferme with his family, Corceiro and his McLaren team. Corceiro, 22, is a Portuguese actress and model who has built a career in television and fashion since 2019. She has appeared in several Portuguese dramas and runs her own swimwear line. His presence in the paddock throughout the season attracted attention, accompanying Norris during the European rounds.

The two were first linked in 2023, shortly after Corceiro split from João Félix. They kept their relationship mostly private in the early months, appearing occasionally at tennis events or off-season gatherings. Although they have been reported to be on-and-off at different times, their recent public appearances reflect a more stable phase.

Lando Norris’ title came with a controlled race under pressure. He needed a podium to secure the title. Max Verstappen led from pole position, Oscar Piastri executed the opening long stint for second and Norris maintained the gap to Leclerc while managing a two-stop strategy. His final run on the hard track allowed him to create enough of a lead over George Russell to secure P3 and win the title.

Margarida Corceiro spent the entire afternoon in the McLaren garage, watching the final laps with obvious emotion before greeting him with a long hug and kiss moments after the finish. Less than 24 hours later, the celebration continues.

Lando Norris will start next season as the reigning F1 world champion with a new number, a new car and a first title behind him. He spoke earlier about using the number 1 on his 2026 McLaren.
