Disney is finally about to give the Star Wars fan base exactly what they’ve been asking for over the past 30 years. However, things took a turn for the worse after the original trilogy ended. Despite having the option to include multiple versions of the films on platforms like Disney+, the streamer also failed to deliver the original version of Star Wars so everyone can go back and rediscover the magic of the films that kicked things off all those years ago.
There is a small hope that the original format of the film will be distributed in honor of the 50th anniversary celebration, and with confirmation that this version is returning to theaters, it is possible that it could finally be released on modern home media, and even Disney+.
