Bruno Fernandes goes ‘so close’

Bruno Fernandes hit a post as Manchester United awaited a Premier League home goal against West Ham on Thursday.
Former United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka cleared Joshua Zirkzee’s first-half effort before Bruno Fernandes fired against the woodwork as the game reached half-time scoreless, meaning the hosts last scored at Old Trafford more than 135 minutes ago.

“Zirkzee does a really good job of deflecting it towards goal,” former United captain Neville told Sky Sports, calling Wan-Bissaka’s intervention “really important”.
“He comes back and Bruno Fernandes’ shot hits the post. So close.”

Man United v West Ham: ‘No urgency’
United, who would move into fifth place with victory, dominated possession but the third-placed Hammers had a prolonged period of momentum at the start of a half containing three attempts on target between the sides.
West Ham needed to win to move out of the relegation zone by moving one point above Leeds United.
“The game has no rhythm or tempo – no urgency – and that suits West Ham,” Neville said. “It’s up to the home team to inject something into the game.”
