Chelsea discuss Johannes Moser transfer

Chelsea look set to miss out on the signing of FC Liefering wonderkid Johannes Moser, despite some talks over a deal.

The highly-rated 17-year-old appears to be an exciting talent to watch for the future, but it remains to be seen whether the Blues have a good chance of securing his signature in the near future.

That’s because it appears Moser’s career is already largely mapped out for him, according to a report from TEAMtalk.

Their article states that although Chelsea and Manchester City have held discussions about signing Moser, he has rejected the possibility of a move to the Premier League.

Moser is also said to be on the list of clubs like Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, but TEAMtalk says he looks set to stay with the Red Bull outfit.

The Austrian prodigy currently plays for Red Bull Salzburg’s youth team, and we imagine he could be one to watch for RB Leipzig in the future.

Moser nevertheless impressed at the recent Under-17 World Cup, finishing as the tournament’s top scorer and second best player.

Chelsea continue to target elite young players

Chelsea may have missed out on Moser, but Ayyoub Bouaddi and Brian Madjo are two other extremely exciting prospects who are on their radar.

They also have Emanuel Emegha set to move to Stamford Bridge next season after spending a final campaign with fellow BlueCo Strasbourg.

Although this ownership of CFC put the brakes on their initial policy of signing young players and overlooking more experienced professionals, it now appears that this project is really taking shape and transforming into something that can bring in the biggest trophies.
