Virat Kohli smashes 7000th century in international cricket, destroys Sachin Tendulkar’s historic record

Indian legend Virat Kohli pleased the Indian crowd on his return to international cricket on the Indian turf. He smashed his 52nd ODI century and during his entertaining innings, he broke a huge number of international records.
India may not have been the most confident team in the ODI series. Their captain and vice-captain are ruled out due to injury, their best all-rounder has been rested and their best paceman has been snubbed to focus on T20Is. However, the only positive for India was the return of veterans.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have now decided to play only in the ODI format; hence, they are desperate to make every innings count, and the veterans did just that in the first ODI in Ranchi as well.

Virat Kohli makes sensational return to international cricket on Indian soil
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were part of another dramatic partnership of the century, complete with improbable events, as Virat Kohli was the aggressor this time, while Rohit is often seen taking on this role. The Indian opener also scored a half-century, but Kohli went deeper into the innings after his dismissal.
The rating rate could have fallen during the intermediate phase; However, it didn’t affect India much as Kohli finally gave the Proteas bowlers a few hits after hitting his remarkable 52nd ODI hundred.
A new side to Virat Kohli’s game, as the legendary batter would occasionally hit the ball and hit 7 sixes in his innings. Kohli, with these hits, surpassed former Australian captain Ricky Ponting to become the highest six-run hitter as a no. 3 international cricket batsmen. He was dismissed for 135 runs off 120 balls.
Virat Kohli surpasses Sachin Tendulkar for this record
As Virat Kohli has already surpassed former Indian great Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most hundreds in ODI cricket, he has surpassed him on a new list of records. Earlier, Sachin Tendulkar, who had 51 hundreds in Test cricket, had the most in a single format of the game.
Today, with Virat Kohli scoring his 52nd ODI hundred, he has surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most centuries in a unique format of international cricket. Along with this, this marked Kohli’s 83rd century in the game of cricket.
