Good boy immediately caught my attention when all the teasers came out. A horror film led by a dog fiercely loyal to his master and incapable of communicating is a brilliant idea. It also paid off, receiving a Rotten Tomatoes score of 90%.

Starring director Ben Leonberg’s dog Indy, the film follows a man named Todd who lives in a rural house in the woods. It’s just him and his beloved dog.

Indy soon begins to sense a presence in the house, before Todd, and tries to protect his owner from whatever is happening.

On top of that, Todd’s health is deteriorating, and this is a tense and highly emotional horror film that will absolutely go down in history for its innovative concept, inspired by classic haunted house films.
