Caitlin Clark sends message after quitting basketball

Caitlin Clark is widely considered the face of women’s basketball even though she is early in her career with the Indiana Fever.

Clark began her WNBA career less than two years ago and has already helped put the Fever on a platform. They are led by Clark on the court and head coach Stephanie White on the sidelines.

In Clark’s second season in the WNBA, the Fever defeated the Atlanta Dream in the playoffs. Clark missed that series after suffering a season-ending injury, and the Fever ended up losing to the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA semifinals.

After the season, Clark mentioned that she was completely healthy and recovering from groin and ankle injuries.

She competed in the pro-am that preceded THE ANNIKA LPGA event, making her official return to the sport, this time on the links.

After attending the event for the second year in a row, Clark sent out a message on social media.

“I had a lot of fun going back for the second year,” Clark said. “Thank you @annikas59 and @dantowriss for inviting me again.”
