First sale of T20I tickets in Cuttack to begin on December 1

The IND vs SA T20I series begins on December 9, while the final match will be played on December 19.

The home season is underway, and the South African team is touring India for a full series — involving two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is. Now, as per OdishaTV, the ticket sales for the IND vs SA first T20I in Barabati Stadium will begin on December 1, for online purchases, and December 5 for offline purchases.

As for the latter, the sales would be at six stadium counters in Cuttack. “The online sale of tickets for India VS South Africa T20 match will be available from December 1, and on December 3 and 4th, those who are in affiliated unit, they will get the tickets from OCA conference hall and from offline sale of tickets will be available from December 5th,” said OCA Secretary Sanjay Behera.

Meanwhile, before the T20I series kickstarts on the 9th of next month, before that the ODI series will be played from 30th November in Ranchi. As expected, it is going to be a tough series against the Proteas, who have beaten the home side, by 30 runs in the first Test at Kolkata, chasing only 124.

Indian team’s batting is under scanner, with not even a single player managing to reach fifty in both the innings. Right-arm spinner Simon Harmer wreaked havoc, and went on to pick eight wickets in the match. Now, the second Test would commence on Nov. 22 in Guwahati, a venue where no Test has ever been played.
