Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive guard Josh Williams has been suspended six games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances, the league announced Tuesday.

Williams, 25, is an undrafted free agent from LSU. He appeared in three games this season for Tampa Bay (6-3), including Sunday’s 28-23 loss to the New England Patriots, and carried the ball four times for 11 yards. He also has five kickoff returns for 129 yards.

He will be eligible to return on Dec. 22, when the NFC South-leading Buccaneers have two regular-season games remaining: Week 17 at Miami and Week 18 against Carolina.
