Liverpool ended the signing of the Dutch international Jeremie Frimpong de Bayer Leverkusen for 35 million euros (29.5 million pounds Sterling) for a five -year contract.
Frimpong, 24, joined the Premier League champions a few hours after he was confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold would join Real Madrid in time for the club World Cup.
Los Blancos should pay 10 million pounds sterling for the English international just to record it early.
This decision comes after Liverpool has activated the Liberation clause of Frimpong, the Dutch right rear considered as a direct replacement of the local star.
Frimpong had a stellar season in Leverkusen, helping them to win their very first title of Bundesliga in 2023-24 and to make 53 appearances in all competitions this quarter in second row.
The new signature will compete with Conor Bradley in Northern Ireland, who recently extended his stay in Anfield by signing a new four -year contract.

The arrival of Frimpong adds an additional depth to the Arne Slot team as they seek to maintain their domination and put pressure for more silverware in Europe.
The trip of Frimpong saw him develop in the ranks of young people of Manchester City, before moving to Celtic in 2019, then in Leverkusen in January 2021.
The wing will also join a solid Dutch contingent in Liverpool, connecting Virgil Van Dijk, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch.
