Is Deebo Samuel playing today? Why Commanders WR is off to a lackluster start in Week 10

The Washington Commanders need more from wide receiver Deebo Samuel in the Week 10 game against the Detroit Lions, with No. 1 Terry McLaurin once again out due to injury.
Making matters worse for Washington, the team is also without quarterback Jayden Daniels after he dislocated his elbow last week.
Unfortunately, Samuel doesn’t do what the Commanders need early in the game against the Lions on Sunday afternoon.
Here’s a closer look at what’s going on.
Is Deebo Samuel playing today?
Yes, Samuel is active and in the lineup, he just hasn’t been targeted yet.
Things won’t be easy for Samuel on Sunday, as not only can the Lions focus on him with McLaurin out, but he also has to overcome a demotion to quarterback with Marcus Mariota.
Hopefully Samuel starts soon, but we wouldn’t count on it.
